- I ussualy don't play with Americans but they are good in latest war beacuse of their benefits with Navy SEAL units. Rosevelt is excelent for industrial age beacuse he has and industious and organized trait witch speed's up a producing of forge, courthouse, factory and lighthouse (witch gives you advantage building great lighthouse). Factory is the main factor in earlier industrial age, witch builded means a lot of advantage against other player's. Lighthouses are a good food provider on coastal cities witch u should build necessarily in every coastal city. It is also good that you remind researching metal casting because it gives you an option to build forge witch gives you +25% production speed up. I do not preffer to play with other two leaders but i will quick examine them too.
-Abraham gives great great people birth rate advantage but it requires of you to build a world wonders witch is little minus if u don't start with stonehenge witch is a great predisposition to have bigger production to build other one. And u have a -25xp for unit exp. and that backwards your army.

-Indians have great benefit's when building worker, you need it to build less then the other civ's, and that can be even faster if u combine it with serfdom civic and if u build:

The Hagia SophiaThe Hagia Sophia
Cost: 550 (Double Production Speed w/ Marble)
Culture: 8
Great People Points: 2
Requires: Theology
Expires: Steam Power
Workers build improvements 50% faster
City more likely to generate Great Engineer
Can only be built on Medieval and earlier starts

then your workers will be building tile improvement in seconds witch is one of the most important parts of the game. Only minus is that indians don't have a uniqe military unit, but that is balanced by faster development of your tiles and your teritory.

- Roman civ has i think most advanced special units compared with the time of getting them as a bonus.
- There are no too much differences between those two leaders. They are both expansive because of the imperialistic trait, as they have bonus with it of 100% general emrgence and they produce settlers 50% faster. I took them because they have very very advanced army comparing it to the swordsman witch is replaced by the praetorian. Swordsman strenght is only 6, praetorian's have 8 and if u boost them with +25 city attack bonus it is a brutal combination. If u use that advancity in early age it would be gread plus in future.

- i will concentrate on one leader here its Stalin. He has gread army and war predispositions because he has agressive trait witch gives you free strenght promotion on every melee and gunpowder unit. Also industrious trait gives you +50% wonder production and double speed of building forge.

This is my favorite civs with gread proportions to build a great empire. Suit yourself and see other civilizations on the link below.
